Wednesday, December 44:30—6:00 PMMain LibraryThe Revere Public Library179 Beach Street, Revere, MA, 02151
This presentation covers the basics of immigration; identification of the three DHS Agencies of the Government that address Immigration issues for our Government (Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and (USCIS) Citizenship and Immigration Services. What do these agencies do and what is their role in the immigration process? The presentation then covers the typical legal methods used to gain permanent residence in the U.S. and briefly describes how they can be used to obtain Citizenship. Finally, I cover the need to protect applicants from frauds and scams and how applicants can obtain safe and competent legal advice if they need it.
